The Great Andromeda Galaxxy
Messier Catalog: M 31
Constellation: Andromeda

The Andromeda Galaxy, our intergalactic neighbour, is the only object outside the milky way visible to the naked eye. A pair of binoculars reveils the oval shape of the cosmic island of more than 100 billions of stars, but only the astrocamera shows the spiral arms in the outskirts.

North is to the right.
