Comet Hartley
Comet Designation: 103P
Constellation: Andromeda

In September comet Hartley was one of the few comets of 2010 that were bright enough to capture the amateur astronomer's attention.
The considerable apparent velocity caused the stars to appear as trails while the comet itself remains sharp including the central condensation.
